How To Use Split Set Stabilisers ?
The main role of split set stabilisers are to restrain and strengthen the soil. It can not only make up for the lack of tensile and shear resistance of the soil, but also during the grouting construction of the anchor, the cement slurry can penetrate into the cracks inside the rock and soil. Through the strengthening effect of cement slurry on rock and soil, the structural strength of rock and soil itself is improved.
Note of split set stabilisers installation:
1. Before inserting the anchoring roll, insert the rock bolt into the hole to test the depth of the eye of the anchor rod, and check whether the depth of the hole meets the requirements. When the depth is not enough, you should re-drill to meet the requirements.
2. During installation, first put the anchor medicine roll into the eye according to the specified quantity, and then insert the rock bolt. At this time, install the connection sleeve, insert the wind anchor, start the wind anchor to rotate it, and slowly push it to the bottom of the eye. After stirring for 20 seconds, stop drilling and remove the wind anchor. Wait 5 minutes before removing the connection sleeve. After 20 minutes, put on the support plate and tighten the nut with a wrench.
3. The supporting plate should be close to the rock wall. If the rock wall is uneven, first level it with a hand pick and then install the split set stabilisers; the anchor force of the split set stabilisers must not be lower than 50KN / root.
Benefits of using split set stabilisers:
1. The anchor is a split set stabiliser, lighter in weight, easier to install, and less labor-intensive;
2. Anchor joists are welded with steel bars, which is lighter in weight, lower in cost, convenient to transport, and less labor-intensive for workers;
3. The anchor clamp joist is welded with steel bars, which has good flexibility. After the force is applied, it can be in full contact with the entire cross-section of the roadway instead of point contact. The force is better, and the bearing capacity can be fully exerted. The anchoring force of the anchor rod is uniformly transmitted to the entire cross section of the roadway;
4. The rock bolt is anchored due to the structural stress of the surrounding rock. At this time, the pressure bearing rod is stressed, and the load on the end of the pressure bearing rod directly acts on the tray and is transmitted to the entire support section, which increases the anchoring force of the split set stabiliser, then further increase support strength.
